Biography
Dr. Arthur Hitomi is President, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Numecent. He is a pioneer in application virtualization and streaming, on-demand application delivery, and has contributed to the development of Internet standards for HTTP 1.1 and REST (APIs). He has authored 38 issued patents and more pending. His latest work focuses on modern software application management and deployment.
He heads the company’s overall goals and technology strategy. He has led technology acquisitions and has invented and developed the company’s products including Cloudpaging and Cloudpager. In the past, he co-founded Endeavors Technologies and has held both industry and academic positions.
Dr. Hitomi holds a BS with honors, MS, and PhD in Information & Computer Science (ICS) from the University of California, Irvine, nationally ranked top ten for Software Engineering in US News & World Report, 2022, and also completed the Henley Management College (now Henley Business School) Advanced Management Programme in the UK. He has received many awards, including UCI’s prestigious Ingenuity Award in 2018, and has been inducted into the ICS Hall of Fame. On the weekends, you will find him running miles along the California beaches with his family.
