Biography
Dr. Aury M. Curbelo is a professor, researcher and cyber security consultant. She has taught courses in the disciplines of business, education, information security and criminal justice for private and public universities for over 15 years.
She also has offered workshops in areas such as; Ethics Across the Curriculum (EAC), Ethical Hacking, Social Network Security, Social Engineering, Information Security System and Business Continuity, Policy and Leadership in Business, Privacy and Confidentiality issues in Networks, Business Continuity, and more.
In addition, she has conducted research in the areas of Information Security, Ethics in Digital Photo Manipulation, Social Engineering: the human side of hacking, HITech Act and the implications for the Puerto Rico Health Sector, Security in Cloud Computing, Security in Social Networks, Information Systems Security Principles for Small Business.
She have column in a Security Blog titled: “Human Wall†and also wrote several articles for the electronic magazine “ B:Secure†in Mexico.
She also is an international speaker and trainer for different Latin American groups for example: Asobancaria, in Colombia.
