Austin Schilling

Biography

Austin C. Schilling, Senior Consultant for IBM Software Group, has over 40 years of experience in building solutions to solve problems in complex environments. He was Systems Architect for one of the first Network based infra-strucures to support home TV to Commercial enterprises in Germany's Bildschirmtex in 1984. And then went on to architect the infra-structure for the 1987 Prodigy service in the United States. Since then he has worked with major Corporations and their CIO and IT staffs to build solutions which would bring their assets to the end user. For the last five years, he has been working with Marist College in a Joint-Study endeavor to bring state-of-the-art technologies to the learning environment.
