Avery Levinger

Biography

Avery Levinger is an award winning administrative professional with a background spanning academic, healthcare, and military settings. He combines analytical prowess with a deep commitment to efficiency and innovation in processes. In his current role at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Avery oversees the day to day of the Preclerkship phase of the MD program. Beyond the professional sphere, Avery served in the United States Army for 6 years in the Military Police Corps. His dedication to service is mirrored in his commitment to community, serving on several executive boards, including the Advisory Board for the Billiken Bounty Food Pantry at Saint Louis University, and the AAMC Inclusion, Diversity, Anti-racism, & Equity Special Interest Group.

A tech enthusiast and an advocate for AI and DEI in education, Avery is currently involved in scholarship aimed at leveraging technology to enhance inclusivity and excellence in academia. His initiatives have significantly improved the student learning environment, making it more adaptive and responsive to the needs of diverse student populations. Outside of his professional endeavors, Avery enjoys exploring the outdoors with his 4-year-old Aussiedor, staying abreast of the latest technology trends, mentoring young professionals, and engaging in thoughtful discussions with peers and community members.
