Biography

Barak Zahavy is the Director of Information Systems at the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 20 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing diverse technology platforms in higher education, supporting academic, research, and administrative areas. Barak was previously with Columbia University, where he was the Executive Director of IT for Columbia College. He also worked in the Academic Technologies Group of Columbia's central IT department, CUIT, and at Accenture. He earned his MA in Statistics and BS in Operations Research, both from Columbia University.
