Biography

Barb Roberts is a seasoned higher education leader with more than 20 years of experience in student and professional staff supervision, including over 15 years in Enrollment Management. As Associate Vice President at UNLV, she oversees strategic initiatives across Financial Aid, Admissions, Orientation, and the Registrar’s Office, serving a diverse student body of nearly 35,000. Barb has led major organizational restructures, implemented innovative technologies, and modernized operations to drive enrollment, retention, and student success. A committed advocate for access and equity, she has developed early outreach programs, financial wellness initiatives, and holistic transition experiences that support first-generation and historically underserved students—efforts that have contributed to UNLV’s MSI, HSI, and AANAPISI designations. Barb is also currently serving as UNLV's Acting Sr. Vice Provost for Academic Affairs overseeing academic operations for undergraduate and online education.
