Biography

Barry Arnold is the Senior Director of Infrastructure at Georgetown University managing all day-to-day Network and Voice Operations.  In addition, over the last 5 years Mr. Arnold has led the largest IT initiative at Georgetown to refresh the network and Wi-Fi infrastructure within 60 plus buildings.  Before stepping into his current role, Mr. Arnold served as Georgetown’s Senior Manager of Network Operations overseeing all new network initiatives, and served as the IT liaison to the Georgetown Facilities Planning office on all construction projects.

Prior to coming to Georgetown, Mr. Arnold was the Manager of Network Operations, at Bloomberg BNA, where he led day-to-day IT operations, and led data center migration and modernization efforts.

Mr. Arnold was involved with coaching youth football, basketball, and soccer for his 2 sons, who are now thriving in college academically.  Mr. Arnold, along with his wife, are actively involved with Women Giving Back charity, which provides clothing for women and children living in shelters, and also provides support to improve their skill sets for future career opportunities.
