As Chief Technology Officer at Unizin, Bart is responsible for maturing Unizin’s product and service offerings through strategic technology leadership to meet the diverse needs of Unizin members and partners. Before arriving at Unizin, Bart was the Director of Teaching and Learning with Technology Innovation at Penn State, where he managed and led teams focused on faculty engagement, artificial intelligence, emerging technology, and research. Coming from a diverse background in instructional design, teaching, and research, his interests reside at the intersection of technology and pedagogy. Bart’s current focus is on growing Unizin’s learning data initiatives, including the Unizin Common Data Model and Unizin Data platform, as well as growing Unizin’s content program. Having over ten years of experience in the college classroom, Bart continues to teach for Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology as an Affiliate Associate Research Professor.
