Adoption, Pedagogy, and Analytics: Exploring Two Years of Institutional Blog Data
For more than a decade, educators and scholars have explored, researched, and implemented blogs in academic settings in a wide variety of ways.
In his role with Teaching and Learning with Technology, Dr. Pursel works with faculty to connect points of intelligence, insight, energy and knowledge-sharing across the Penn State Community. Coming from a diverse background of instructional design, teaching, and research, Dr. Pursel's interests reside at the intersection of technology and pedagogy. Dr. Pursel's current projects focus on areas such as Learning Analytics, Digital Badges, MOOCs, and Open Educational Resources. Dr. Pursel is also co-Director of the Center for Pedagogy in Arts and Design (C-PAD) and an Affiliate Faculty member in the College of Information Sciences and Technology.
