Bee Gallegos

Biography

Ms Gallegos has been a librarian at Arizona State University since 1984 and was one of two founding librarians of the library on the West campus. She has served the library in multiple roles but primarily as a subject librarian covering subjects as diverse as education, history, nursing, criminal justice, social work, recreation & travel/tourism, sociology, communications and psychology. She currently is the education and history librarian on ASU's West campus. She has presented at multiple conferences, authored or co-authored journal articles, books chapters, proceeding papers and was a creator/developer of two library games in 2004-2007, Information Pursuit, a board game and Quarantined, an online game. Both were used with freshmen students to teach them about the libraries and develop information literacy skills.
