Ben Salzman

Biography

Ben Salzman is an educator at Hamilton College where he leads the schools efforts of integrating XR Technologies for teaching and learning in the liberal arts curriculum. In addition to collaborating, teaching and supporting faculty and students, he managed the college's HP/EDUCAUSE Campus of the Future research project. His academic work and research has been featured by Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, CBS, and EDUCAUSE.

Prior to working at Hamilton, Ben has spent the last 8 years designing virtual reality environments and producing multimedia for regional and international clients, including online magazines, consulting groups, advertising agencies, academic institutions and museums. Salzman's work as a multimedia artist have been featured at the KYMA International Sound Symposiums in Olso Norway, St. Cloud State University, and the University of Santa Cruz California. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists most notably Alyson Shotz and Robert Kinkel of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
