Biography
Ben Syn (MA, CISSP) is the Director of University and Career Education at KnowBe4, where he bridges the gap between technical compliance and human-centric security. He is the architect of the KnowBe4 Student Edition, a specialized human risk management program protecting over 1.3 million students across 250+ academic institutions globally.
Uniquely positioned at the intersection of cybersecurity and the humanities, Ben combines his technical credentials (CISSP) with a Master’s in Rhetoric and an MFA in Screenwriting to decode the "linguistic tells" of modern social engineering. A former university Senior Instructor, he now helps Higher Ed leaders transform complex regulatory mandates into actionable security cultures that protect both the campus network and the student body.
