Ben Leung
Biography
Ben Leung is currently a Project Manager for the Enterprise Resource Planning team at Lone Star College. In this position, he works with four key areas of Oracle PeopleSoft (Human Capital, Financial Management, Campus Services, and Portal) to ensure projects meet all milestones, are completed within budget, and delivered product exceeds customer expectations. Before assuming the Project Manager position, Ben managed IT support teams for three colleges. His operational responsibilities included defining and managing the IT budget, exceeding Service Level Agreements, and setting the IT vision. In addition, he also worked on numerous campus IT projects including proof of concept testing of VMware Vblock and construction of a College Satellite Campus. IT project budgets ranged from $20,000 to $2 million. Project responsibilities range from initiation to closing. Ben is recognized for inclusive collaboration with customers on technology projects that leads to the development of sustainable solutions. The solutions utilizes a combination of best practices with innovative ideas and always align with the school’s strategic plan. He then ensures the solution moves from testing to production in a timely manner to meet costumer’s needs.EDUCAUSE Presentations
