Biography
Beryl Bellman is a tenured full Professor in the Department of Communications at California State University at Los Angeles. He has been in academe for more than thirty-five years previously serving on the faculties of University of California at San Diego, State University of New York at Stonybrook and California Institute of the Arts. He served as the Research Director of the Western Behavioral Sciences Institute in La Jolla and helped manage its School of Management and Strategic Studies. He also was a consultant at RAND in the Institute for Information Revolution Analysis. He is the co-founder of the FEAC Institute and serves as its Academic Director. The FEAC Institute provides education and certification in enterprise architecture for federal agencies, the Department of Defense and contractors. He has conducted research and consulted in Enterprise Architecture for over twenty years for both the government and private sectors including DEC, AT&T, NCR, Ptech, the Executive Office of the President, Department of Energy, Forest Service, Immigration and Naturalization Service, NASA and more. His research interests concerns technologies and tools for complex program management, enterprise architecture, organizational culture and communications, knowledge management and network collaborative learning and work. He has published three books and numerous journal articles and presenter at professional meetings in academe, government and industry.
