Biography

Beth is the Director of Conferences and Events for EDUCAUSE and leads the association's planning team in executing face-to-face or online conferences, providing project management, and strategic direction. Previously, she worked at the American Heart Association as the Director of Scientific Meetings Programming and had responsibility for the strategic and administrative functions related to the development and execution of scientific content for their scientific conferences. Beth is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a Digital Event Strategist (DES), and has 20 years of experience executing high-quality conferences ranging from 50 to 25,000 participants. She also enjoys volunteering as a Board Member for the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association. As a resident of Colorado, she enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, landscape photography, and being out in nature.
