
Bethany Thrasher
Biography
Dr. Bethany A. Thrasher is a passionate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) prepared Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing Education, Public Health Nurse certification, with a deep desire to reach the world through future and aspiring healthcare leaders in academic and community settings. Dr. Thrasher serves as an Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Science, College of Graduate Nursing. With a nursing career spanning various healthcare settings, Dr. Thrasher is passionate about serving the mental health community, women's health nursing, global and public health nursing.
Dr. Thrasher is a proud member of many professional organizations: the American Public Health Association, American Association of Colleges of Nursing, American Nurses Association, NursesBond, National League of Nursing, Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Honor Society of Nursing Phi Alpha Chapter, Western University of Health Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice Association, Community Activities Coordinator, and the California Sexual Assault Investigators Association, Lifetime Member.
Dr. Thrasher enjoys volunteering her time in many community and public health and volunteering with NAMI-OC as a facilitator of the First Responder Support Group and Huntington Harbor Village, Senior community health volunteer.
