Bob Kalwinsky
Biography
Robert Kalwinsky is an assistant professor of new media at Middle Tennessee State University. He received his Ph.D. in science communications from the University of Iowa in 2000, where he was an Iowa Fellow. He teaches courses in new media theory, digital design, and video production. His research interests include use of new media in education as well as intercultural/development aspects of science and health communications; he has related publications in this field. Professionally, he has been an associate producer at WNET in New York, media manager at the City University of New York and at the University of Guam, and research manager for the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego.
