Bob Price
Biography
Bob Price is currently the Assistant Dean of Technology and Digital Strategies within the J. Murrey Atkins Library of UNC Charlotte. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Indiana University and a MA in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University. He has led and collaborated on several innovations in both the Private and Public sectors including Lowe’s Inc., Duke University and the University of Notre Dame. Bob has a deep love for interdisciplinary research and collaboration that has played out in his career along the lines of Business, Human Resources, and Information Technology. He holds not only multiple certifications in technology but also a Senior Professional Human Resources designation. During his tenure at UNC Charlotte, he has led many innovative and broad change efforts including innovative multi-purpose technology within a newly renovated 20,00 square foot space, a group study application,the transition to a cloud based ILS, Digital Scholarship, and digital asset management and infrastructure. Bob is currently working with a campus leadership team to define the campus Technical Reference Model and Sustainable Infrastructure plans.EDUCAUSE Presentations
