Biography
Executive Director of the Office of IT at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.An active participant in developing IT directions and strategies for the University of Georgia, Brad spent the first half of his career with Chevron Corporation before joining Terry College in 2001. Brad has over 30 years of information technology management experience including 5 years working internationally. Brad began his career as a Chemical Engineer and quickly shifted to the Information Technology field when personal computers were introduced within corporations in the mid-1980s. Brad has worked at all levels of IT organizations, beginning as a PC Support Specialist and progressing to the CIO position with TengizChevroil, a Chevron joint venture company located in Kazakhstan. Other international assignments include a three year resident assignment in Lagos, Nigeria as the IT Infrastructure Manager and other project related activities that crossed cultural and national boundaries.
Brad is an active member of the Technology in Business Schools Roundtable (tbsroundtable.org), a professional organization of AACSB Accrediated Business School IT Leadership and currently serves as Secretary on their Board of Directors.
