Biography
Brad enjoyed his first significant foray into instructional innovation as a philosophy professor at a small liberal arts institution, where a relatively crude website had a substantial positive effect on his teaching and his students’ learning. The experience ultimately led him to the University of Minnesota in 2001, where he worked for 14 years in increasingly responsible leadership positions to advance instructional innovation and manage the increasingly complex academic technology environment across the system. He is now Senior Vice Provost for Instructional Innovation at Ohio University, and works closely with the Provost and the CIO to help faculty deliver a transformative educational experience across the curriculum.
