Biography

Brenda Airo-Dyer is a researcher and advocate for digital inclusion whose work sits at the intersection of neurodiversity, instructional innovation, and technology-enhanced learning in higher education. Her scholarship examines how faculty leverage accessibility tools, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, and inclusive pedagogical practices to better support neurodivergent students. Her recent research, Designing for Neuroinclusion: A Faculty-Centered Framework for Technology-Enhanced Inclusive Curriculum, explores the institutional and technological conditions necessary to create flexible, equitable, and empowering learning environments.

Brenda brings a blended background in higher education administration, peer support, and workforce development, grounding her work in trauma-informed practice and human-centered design. She is committed to advancing equity and transforming institutional culture through faculty development, collaborative design processes, and evidence-based innovation that expands access and enhances student success.
