Biography

Brent Emerson is Service Operations Manager in the central Office of Information Technology at Portland State University, an urban research institution in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon. He assists IT teams and projects with service design, service delivery, and process improvement. He co-founded and chairs OIT's Service Management Matrix Team, has ITIL Managing Professional and Lean Practitioner certifications, and has presented at conferences about nonprofit technology, democratic workplaces, and service catalog development.
