Brent Kelley

With a background in radio and television production, Brent Kelley spent most of his college years working “on-air.” In 1989, Mr. Kelley began his association with the Walt Disney Company where he was involved in the opening and testing of the Disney/MGM Studios. That experience familiarized him with the intense performance demands of a major entertainment company. It also provided him with experience in extremely high-pressure situations. Brent received his Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Journalism from Louisiana State University; he has also completed extensive work toward a doctorate in Education. His professional career spanned various academic colleges and university divisions at Louisiana State University. For more than six years he worked in enrollment management offices and prior to leaving the university, Brent directed all of the recruitment, special events, and related alumni activities. In 1998, he left the university environment to work with PeopleSoft. His experience with PeopleSoft’s Student Administration System involved sales and implementation. For over 10 years, Brent has been with Oracle working exclusively with higher education. In addition to his role in sales, he has also worked with development and implementation initiatives. In addition to his work-related activities, Mr. Kelley is an active member of his local community, as indicated by his appointment by Mike Foster, then Governor of Louisiana, to serve as a founding member of the Zachary Community School Board.
