Brian Baute is Higher Education Advisor at Amazon Web Services and a seasoned leader in enterprise SaaS sales, known for his ability to drive sustainable high performance through empathy-driven prospect relationships and strategic deal construction. With over 20 years of technology and leadership experience, including roles as CIO at Queens University of Charlotte and technology leadership positions at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Elon University, Brian brings a unique, customer-centered perspective to his sales leadership, underpinned by his deep industry expertise and innovative approach.

Brian holds an MBA from Elon University and a Bachelor's in English from Indiana State University, and he is PMP certified. His leadership is driven by a balance of relationship-building and data-driven decision-making, ensuring effective and empathetic sales strategies that resonate with both customers and teams.

Always interested in new challenges and learning opportunities, Brian has completed a marathon, a Spartan Race Trifecta, and multiple 48-hour Special Forces-led GORUCK Challenge events.
