Brian Foley

Biography

Brian Foley has worked at Washington State University's University Information Systems Services group in ITS for over three years. During his time at WSU, Brian has worked in many aspects of information technology; from .Net programming and architecting, to legacy integration, to Single Sign On authentication, to authorization management, to identity management, to web services, to “myWSU” portal support and development – Brian has been heavily involved in shaping the administrative technology environment at WSU. Brian spent his previous 4 years before coming to WSU working at Airborne Express (now DHL) where he was able to leverage his development skills in a large corporate environment. Brian has had the opportunity to be a part of several large projects at WSU over the last few years, including a new “Friend of WSU Accounts” application, implementing Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), developing an online Advisor’s Toolkit, creating a service oriented architecture with web services, and re-engineering all of WSU’s self-service web applications to ASP.Net.
