Biography
I am Toronto Metropolitan University's Chief Information Officer. Since 1995, I've held several positions at TMU including director of computing and communications services, manager, academic computing and assistant director, application development and support. I helped lead TMU's move to Google Apps for Education and the renewal of the university's online learning tools. I also helped develop TMU's first identity management system, establish TMU's e-learning support team and was a founding member of TMU's Digital Media Zone (DMZ) steering committee. The DMZ is TMU's startup incubator and accelerator. I am a board member of the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst and manage the CUCCIO cybersecurity benchmarking service.
Before working at TMU I worked at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada and the National Archives of Canada.
