Brian Richwine

Biography

Brian Richwine is Senior Accessibility Strategist for Learning Technologies at Indiana University Bloomington, where he works at the intersection of digital accessibility, teaching and learning, and institutional technology strategy. He specializes in accessible STEM content, math, screen reader user experience, and practical authoring workflows that help institutions improve access at scale.

His work focuses on translating accessibility regulations, standards, and emerging technical practices into sustainable, cross‑campus implementation across learning technologies and instructional materials. He collaborates with faculty, instructional designers, IT professionals, vendors, and university leaders to turn accessibility requirements into workable institutional practice.

Brian is an active contributor to the DAISY Consortium’s math accessibility work, serves on the Big Ten Academic Alliance IT Accessibility Group, and presents regularly at national and regional conferences on accessibility and learning technologies. He also serves as an adjunct instructor in Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
