Brian Watson
Biography
Brian Watson (MBA) currently serves as CIO for Georgia College & State University (GCSU) Georgia’s designated public liberal arts university. Prior to moving to GCSU, Brian was most recently the Executive Director of IT for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at the University of Georgia (UGA) from 2014 through 2024. He also served as Interim CIO for Gordon State College in 2022 and for GCSU in 2024. In total, Brian has contributed to the higher education information technology community for over 30 years and has more than 35 years of experience in providing technology support. In 2023, he was honored as an inaugural inductee into the National Extension Technology Community (NETC) Hall of Fame.
