Biography

As the Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at Odessa College, I bring over 15 years of experience in the education field, specializing in professional learning, institutional effectiveness, and research. My career is dedicated to driving continuous improvement through comprehensive planning, data analysis, and assessment to enhance instructional quality and institutional viability.

My work in institutional effectiveness involves leading initiatives that align with the institution’s strategic goals, ensuring that data-driven decisions support student success and institutional growth. I am deeply committed to identifying key issues through rigorous research and translating findings into actionable strategies that foster a culture of excellence and accountability.

Previously serving as the Executive Director of Professional Learning, I am a skilled leader, able to work with teams of educators to identify areas of need, set goals, and develop action plans to achieve them. My passion lies in improving instruction and student outcomes by prescribing practical strategies for the classroom.

I hold a Master of Education/Administration degree with a Principal Certification from Texas Tech University and Lamar University. I earned an Ed.D. of Education in Organizational Leadership at Abilene Christian University. My commitment to staying current on the latest research and developments in the field is demonstrated through ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.

In my role as Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, my focus is on providing educators with the training and support they need to be successful in their classrooms and to improve student learning outcomes, ensuring the institution's goals and missions are effectively met.
