Dr. Bridgett Piernik-Yoder joined the faculty of the Department of Occupational Therapy at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2007. Prior to joining the faculty full-time, Dr. Piernik-Yoder worked for 10 years as an occupational therapist at a large rehabilitation hospital. Following this, she worked for four years for an international publisher of clinical assessments where she was part of a research team that developed clinical assessment measures for use by occupational therapists and other clinicians. Dr. Piernik-Yoder has been a frequent presenter at local, regional, and national conferences and continuing education programs on topics related to clinical program development, program evaluation, and professional development. Her current research activities are focused on rehabilitation outcomes, assessment practice, and faculty development.
