
Cait Kennedy
Biography
Cait Kennedy is an Instructional Designer and Research Librarian at Trinity College. She is passionate about advocating for student success and building academic and co-curricular pathways for students to develop and apply digital literacy skills.
In her current role at Trinity, Cait manages a team of undergraduate Student Technology Assistants and provides instructional design and research guidance for students and faculty in the arts and humanities. She also supports faculty and student digital scholarship projects using tools like WordPress, Scalar, and ArcGIS Story Maps.
Previously, Cait worked in communications and instruction roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Center for Teaching Quality, and Bobby Dodd Institute. In all of her professional roles, Cait has approached instructional design projects through the lens of accessibility, critical pedagogy, and backward design.
