Cara Ruggiero
Biography
Cara is the Senior Director of the Center for Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Berkeley College with over 10 years of experience in teaching and school administration. Cara has taught students aged 3-18, as well as mentored teachers and facilitated professional development in both the PreK-12 and higher education spaces. After receiving her Masters in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, Cara found her greatest passion in curriculum development--namely curricula that highlights creativity and collaboration. At Berkeley College, Cara consults with faculty to incorporate student-centered teaching approaches throughout courses to enegage learners in 21st century skills.
