Biography

As chief research security officer, Carl Rhine oversees efforts to ensure the security of IU research and intellectual property. He is responsible for working with colleagues in research and throughout the university to ensure the timely development and implementation of policies, assessment tools, and appropriate responses concerning research security.  He serves as research’s liaison with state, and federal officials on security matters.
