Carla Rathbone

Biography

Carla serves Clemson University as the Deputy CIO for Clemson Computing and Information Technology. In the role she assists the CIO in areas including budgeting, procurement, personnel, labor relations, training, external reporting, records management, communications, strategic planning and general management and oversight for IT operations. Her interests include project and portfolio management as well as computer literacy and sustainability of quality education in the face of drastic reduction in state funding. Carla received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clemson University and received her PMP in 2007. She has worked throughout CCIT in a number of different roles including development, training and leadership.
