Biography
Director of Marketing and Communications of DuraSpace since 2009, Carol Minton Morris served as Communications Director for National Science Digital Library (NSDL) initiatives from 2000-2009. NSDL, a community of over 200 digital library partners nationwide, has been brought together by the National Science Foundation to provide organized access to high quality resources and tools that support innovations in teaching and learning at all levels of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. In this role, she worked with organizations, universities, and companies to increase awareness of NSDL as a national educational resource. Her research interests are informed by her background in publishing and the visual arts and include community development around establishing collaborative communications systems and tools for distributed content creation and distribution.
