Carolyn Stoll

Biography

Carolyn Stoll is veteran educator of 27 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in English, both from Miami University of Ohio. She began teaching middle school English in 1986 and moved to teaching first year composition and technical writing at the University of Cincinnati in 1994. In 2010, she joined the University of Cincinnati Information Technology department as an instructional designer for the university. She went on to manage UCIT's Instructional Design and Content team where she managed projects with faculty seeking to leverage emerging technologies in their teaching and to create active learning content for online, hybrid, and face to face classes. She currently works as an instructional designer for the Center for Educational Technology and Instructional Support for UC's College of Allied Health Sciences. An early adopter and leader in using technology in education, Mrs. Stoll has spoken at national and regional conferences on topics having to do with technology and pedagogy.
