Carrie Nelson

Biography

Carrie Nelson is a librarian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She does reference, instruction, and collection development at the main undergraduate library. Her focus is on connecting users to content, particularly in the digital environment. This focus involves her in e-book collections, course reserves, e-textbook activity, copyright, and accessibility of online information resources. She has American Studies degrees from Grinnell College and the University of Pennsylvania. After working in student affairs at Georgetown University, Carrie earned her Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
