Carrie Miller

Biography

Carrie holds a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Arizona State University, an MS in French and Graduate Certificates in TESL and Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a BA in French from Arizona State University. Carrie has been an instructor in higher education for over 15 years, both in face-to-face and online classes. Her teaching experience includes instructional design, assessment, educational technologies, game-based learning, educational psychology, psychology of learning, french, and physical geology. Prior to coming to IT Solutions, Carrie helped open a branch campus of Benedictine University in Mesa, Arizona, where she became well-versed in problem-based learning, flipped instruction, and technology-enhanced instruction. Her research interests include open educational resources, game-based learning, assessment, curriculum evaluation, and adult education.
