Biography

Cary Brown has spent more than 25 years in the EdTech industry, currently serving as Director of Strategic Project Management for Unicon.  Before that he was Director of Higher Education Programs for the education standards body IMS Global,  and Senior Director of Campus Solutions Product Development at Oracle, where he was responsible for the Peoplesoft Campus Solutions student information suite. He began his tech career designing applications on top of off the shelf relational databases for small associations before transitioning to edtech as a functional analyst and development director, often with a focus on integration and extending the availability and usability of administrative academic data and enabling the entire academic ecosystem in a sustainable, standards-based way.
