Creating Emotional Engagement in Online Learning
Higher education educators play a pivotal role in supporting students' emotional engagement with online course content.
I have worked in Higher Education since 1991 initially as an Orgnisational Development Consultant specialisating in Leadership, Change Management, Mentoring, Coaching and Performance Management. For the last 5 years, I have been in the role of Learning/Educational Designer both at QUT and USQ, partnering and supporting academics in conceptualising how educational multimedia resources can work together with pedagogy to engage students and encourage deeper learning. I am experienced in researching for and designing learning materials based on principles of best practice and UDL. I have a passion for leading learning design change incorporating technology enhanced solutions for successful teaching and learning/student outcomes.
