Catherine Crary

Biography

Catherine Crary, M.Ed, has over eighteen years of experience in higher education resource development including grant development, grant management, employee giving, prospect research, cultivation, as well as event planning and management. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Grants at Rio Salado College where she cultivates innovation and engages employees in the planning, design and development of grants, projects, and campaigns. In addition, she provides technical assistance to project directors and administrators in the management of grants. She has presented at local, state, and national levels individually and with colleagues or program officers. Catherine is a former board member of the Council for Resource Development, an AACC affiliate council. With CRD she was a tri-chair for the Governance Task Force Implementation Committee and a member on the Governance Task Force Models Committee. Other roles include service as Program Chair and Co-Chair for the 45th & 46th Annual Conference (respectively), Co-Chair for the CRD/NSF Faculty Workshop, Conference Chair for the 2009 Region IX Conference, to name a few. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Business with a specialization in Marketing from Arizona State University, as well as a Masters of Education in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University.
