Biography

Catherine is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the Community Colleges of Baltimore County. Catherine received her B.S.N. and M.S.N., from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. Her background includes 20 years of critical care experience in a medical-surgical intensive care unit in Baltimore City. Catherine has been an active faculty member for 10 years, currently teaching upper-level students cardiovascular and critical care topics. Catherine has also been innovative in the course development of a state-wide Paramedic to RN program. This hybrid course was created in collaboration with SunGard to deliver an advanced online program, which advances paramedics through the nursing program in one year. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has also presented at both Drexel Education Conferences and NISOD conferences on topics related to nursing education.
