Biography

I currently serve on the leadership team at the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Teaching and Learning—the second-oldest teaching center in the nation. I oversee strategic direction and engagement, communications, and instructional design. Over the past 23+ years, I’ve contributed to numerous campus-wide initiatives, serving on working and governance groups focused on academic technologies, IT, and large-scale teaching and learning initiatives.

Across both the software industry and higher education, my work is united by a central question: How can we use human-centered design, pedagogy, and technology to improve the lives of learners and customers? I’ve had the privilege of leading teams that have tackled this question, delivering measurable, positive outcomes.
