Chuck Elliott

Biography

Chuck Elliott is Concord University's first Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for the oversight, support, and executive leadership of the University’s entire technology environment for students, faculty, staff and the community including: Networking and Telecommunications; Learning Management Systems; Computer Labs, Classroom, and Special Event Support; Help Desk and Desktop Support; ERP (Ellucian Banner) and Database Administration; Application and Web Development; Video and Multimedia Support; and more.  He coordinates strategic planning for information technology; negotiates major technology contracts and acquisitions; and responds to faculty, student, and staff concerns about technology practices, policies, or operations.  Member of the President's Cabinet, Strategic Planning Steering Committee, Emergency Preparedness Team, and more. Chairs the University Technology Committee. Represents the University to federal, state and local government and agencies, and professional development organizations.
