Tim Dickel
Biography
Charles Timothy (Tim) Dickel, Ed.D., Professor of Education, has been at Creighton for 38 years, teaching in both teacher education and counselor education programs. In addition, at Creighton, he has been the Assistant to the Dean and the Associate Dean of the Creighton College of Arts and Science, Chair of the Education Department, and Dean of University College and Summer Sessions. He has been active in trying to move programs in the University to online delivery and has taught the technology courses in the teacher education program. He has been an efellow and senior efellow with Creighton's Academic Development and Techology Center and has been a presenter at SITE, ED-Media, and E-Learn. He taught the first course, the first time, in Creighton's new EdD Interdisciplinary Degree in Leadership. He is currently the co-researcher and co-evaluator the Creighton College of Arts and Sciences iPad Study. His interest is in how universities must adapt to current and future students and their technology needs.EDUCAUSE Presentations
