Biography
Charlynn Ross is an alumna of Appalachian State University, UNC Greensboro and a member of Phi Kappa Phi. Charlynn taught 14 years in Communication Studies at UNC Charlotte and was selected Director of the University Center for Academic Excellence in 1997. Charlynn is a graduate of BRIDGES, Academic Leadership Program for Women and named 1998 UNC Charlotte Woman Administrator of the Year. In 1999, the Provost appointed Charlynn to be the liaison to TIAA-CREF, part of the Universitys Research Park. In 2005, Charlynn was nominated for UNC Charlottes Woman of the Year. Charlynn consults locally and regionally in the areas of conflict management, public address, classroom management, and small group leadership.
