Biography

Charmaine Burrus is an educator and software engineering manager. She is focused on identifying and examining problems and potential solutions that can guide EdTech creators in designing and building technology that empowers all teachers and students. Her current research focuses on bias and discrimination within educational technology applications. She has conducted surveys, interviews, and focus groups on the topic as well as conducted detailed analyses of individual applications.
