Dr Chris Adie is Deputy Director for IT Infrastructure in the Information Services Group of the University of Edinburgh. He also heads up the Communications Infrastructure Section, which manages the University's data network and telephone system. Previous positions have included Academic Liaison Director to the College of Science and Engineering, and Head of the Specialist Services Division of Edinburgh University Computing Services. A physicist by training, Chris has many years experience of software development and service management in commercial and academic support roles.
