Chris Alcock

Biography

Chris has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, design strategy, masterplanning and education planning in tertiary education for univeristies in Asia Pacific - notably, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam. A former architect and Regional Director for DEGW in Asia Pacific, he founded his consultancy SpaceLogic in 2010 and in 2017 evolved this to Six Ideas with former colleagues at DEGW in the UK, Europe and Asia Pacific.

His recent projects include teaching and learning advisory on the the new STEMM Hub for the University of Melbourne, strategic briefing for the Technology Education Building at Monash University, faculty masterplans for four of the five faculties of Macquarie University, stakeholder engagement for the campus masterplan for James Cook University, and strategic briefing for the Canberra Inistitute of Technology. In addtion, he has significant experience in workplace strategy and change management for scientific research organisations in Australia and New Zealand.
