Biography
Chris Bell is the Senior Associate Director of Support at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he focuses on providing exemplary support for all faculty, staff, and students. Before moving to CU’s central Office of Information Technology, Chris was the IT Director for the University of Colorado Law School, and before that was Chief Operating Officer with Platte Canyon Multimedia Software Corporation, a software company focused on the intersection of education, technology, and business. In the technology fields, Chris has spanned the IT continuum from writing software and selecting hardware to strategic planning and budgeting. Another focus of Chris's career has been on leadership and management in higher education. Chris remembers fondly his days long ago as a stand-up comedian where he opened for acts such as Roseanne and Paula Poundstone. He has published numerous articles related to e-Learning and has presented at many national corporate, academic, and legal training conferences.
