Chris Clark directs the Information Technology Services (ITS) Learning Spaces group at the University of Iowa where that group provides technology/teaching solutions for computer labs, classrooms, conference/meeting spaces and other teaching/learning spaces across campus. His responsibilities in that role include oversight of the nationally recognized TILE active learning program and the UI Learning Commons, an award-winning 37,000sf technology-rich learning space which opened in Iowa's Main Library in 2013.
In addition to his Learning Spaces efforts, Chris is part of Iowa's ITS Leadership team which oversees central IT operations. He chairs Iowa's Campus IT Leaders (CITL) group and is serving as part of the six person TIER IT project team, charged with transforming the IT organization at Iowa.
A 15 year veteran of higher education technology management, Chris holds a BA in English from Creighton University and an MBA from Iowa's Tippie School of Management.
